Jen W. is the queen of muscle and racer back tanks (who wouldn’t want to show off their muscles?)! Here’s her quick and easy tutorial on how to make your own using a t-shirt. No sewing required.
- Pick out an awesome t-shirt.
- Get rid of all the sleeves.
- Cut along the sleeve seam line with care and take a little extra off near the top of the shoulders.
- Flip the shirt facedown and take a little extra off the back swoop on each side.
- Accordion the back of the shirt. This will gather it in the back a few inches from the neckline.
- Use a 1/2″ strip of t-shirt scrap to tie the folded fabric together and knot it, then turn the knot under so it’s hidden.
- Put on your summer-fied racer back tank and flex those yoga muscles for the world to enjoy.
