Deliberately sandwiched right between Thanksgiving and the New Year, the purpose of Rest Fest is to Regroup. Connect. Nourish. Pause. Rest. 

Part 1: Moon Salutations & Myofascial Releasing

1:30-3:30p

We’ll begin with about 30 minutes of gentle but warming Moon Salutations with Jen M, followed by a session of self-massaging techniques that will leave your muscles, and maybe even your soul, feeling much more ease and relaxation.

Part 2: Restorative Yoga & Sound Immersion 

3:30-5:00p

In this 90-minute practice, we will focus on rest & rejuvenation (through movement & breath), with the amazing and magical addition of a Sound Bath performed by Geoff Lamden. If you’ve never heard of a Sound Bath (you’re not alone), imagine the good kind of tingle you feel when music gives you goosebumps! Give your body a little TLC and soothe your senses through melodic sounds. Get ready for full-on yoga bliss.

This event is $59 for members, $69 for non-members; we can’t wait to rest with you.

WINTER SOLSTICE

THURSDAY, December 21st | 7:00-8:30pm | Forest Hills

Winter Solstice Restorative Flow + Yoga Nidra, The Yoga of Sleep

Yoga Nidra is sometimes described as the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Think of it like a combination of your favorite restful yoga pose and mental relaxation. We’ll have a brief discussion about the benefits and how to use the practice at home.

We’ll move very gently in a restorative flow, then we’ll finish with a nice, long, warm and supportive Nidra practice so you can float home on a cloud of relaxation. Join us and our amazing community to practice together.

We’ll focus on the yoga you know and love, plus a deeper dive into taking your practice into your home spaces. We’ll offer accessible and depthbuilding guided meditations, in addition to curated daily content through both your workbook and emails- so you don’t have to find resources yourself. Most of all, we’ll build a community of like-minded folks to offer support, camaraderie, and connection as you grow.
